Love Our Records presents the new single from Lyon & Lowe Girlfriend premièred via Pigeons & Planes.

On a lonely night two months ago Lowe sent Lyon an email with a track he called Girlfriend.
It included an idea for a chorus using some pad synths and tentative words. Lyon, missing his girlfriend on holiday at the time and feeling inspired, began embellishing the track instantly in the middle of the night around 2 am with space funk beats and some subtle programming.

The pair quickly realized something special was being created and a warped vision of future pop was being born. From this point on the cross continental partnership, synced in harmony, ignited a flow of material yet to be unveiled.
